The Castle: A New Theatrical Event - Now Showing Off-Broadway!
Three men and one woman tell their life stories from childhood, crime, prison, homelessness and into... The Castle. The Castle is a dramatic story of change and hope.
Conceived and directed by David Rothenberg. Written in collaboration with Vilma Ortiz Donovan, Kenneth Harrigan, Angel Ramos and Casimiro Torres. Eric Krebs and Chase Mishkin, producers. The Fortune Academy is The Fortune Society's nationally-recognized residence in Harlem for homeless individuals with criminal records. Since opening its doors in April 2002, the Academy has been heralded as an exemplar in its field by community leaders and government officials alike.
