Throughout the year, Fortune News considers unsolicited articles on any subject addressing criminal justice, prisons, and re-entry issues. Photos, illustrations, and artwork are welcome.
NOW ACCEPTING SUBMISSIONS FOR OUR JUNE 2010 ISSUE: EDUCATION
SUBMISSION DEADLINE: April 15, 2010
If you have an article, letter, or creative work you would like to share that relates to your experience with education and the criminal justice system, we are interested in reviewing it for inclusion in our next issue!
The "Food for Thought" question in this issue is: "What is the one thing you would say
to your child if you could see him or her right now?"
Please send your response to the question above to the address listed below. Kindly limit your submission to one paragraph or less.
Submission Requirements
Due to space contraints, articles cannot exceed 1,250 words and must be typed and double-spaced. (Writer who are incarcerated are welcome to submit handwritten manuscripts.) All submissions must include a title, author's name, mailing address, and a short bio of the author. Submissions will not be returned.
Please note that not all submissions will be printed, and that Fortune News reserves the right to edit submissions as appropriate. Submissions that are not printed in this periodical may be selected to appear on the Fortune Society’s blog. The Fortune Society does not provide pen pals.
